"I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. A great deal of who I've grown to be was discovered while playing in the street as a child."

QUOTES

Birds sing each morning not having us in mind. All the while showing how happy we can make others by simply being ourselves.

POEMS

Listening

Seashell to my waiting ear
I listen for the ocean
Someone told me it’s inside
someone had the notion

Can I really hear the waves
tumbling to the shore
Or is it just my innocence
that has me hoping for

I must admit that’s quite a bit
to have inside a shell
But not more than my hearts belief
that it was true to tell

Virtue

Virtue in its purest form
is governed by the spirit
A wholeness that is felt throughout
by all who may draw near it

Unacquainted with reward
It does not seek our praise
Indifferent to a common theme
that hails one for their ways

Virtue is a practiced truth
as old as lessons taught
It’s how we share the company
and add to worthy thought

Echoes

Echoes bring back words I’ve said
repeating once again
It’s wise to think before we speak
reminding me of when

I spoke without the thought of how
my words could all but show
What it was I felt inside
and what was yours to know

So I’ll repeat before they come
to echo all that’s true
And say the words I should have said
when thoughts had turned to you
